Criminal Defense
At The Law Office of Peter David Brown, P.A. we firmly believe in the mantra – EXPERIENCE COUNTS.
Over the past three (3) decades Attorney Peter Brown has been helping citizens in Courts all throughout the Lowcountry who have been accused of criminal offenses. Attorney Peter Brown began his career in the Charleston County Public Defender’s Office where he cut his teeth and polished his courtroom skills handling trials ranging from murders and armed robberies to drug and gun cases. Since that time, he has built upon that foundation to establish extraordinary relationships throughout the State, relationships that only come from experience, consistent courtroom results and well-earned trust. As a result, Attorney Peter Brown has often been called upon over the years to represent fellow attorneys and law enforcement officers in both high profile criminal investigations and civil matters.
In April 2021, Attorney Peter Brown brought on Attorney Donald Sorenson as an associate with the firm. Attorney Don Sorenson had spent his entire legal career spanning twenty-five plus years as a career prosecutor. During that time Attorney Don Sorenson tried over 120 violent crime trials including approximately 50 murder trials. He was frequently called upon to consult with local law enforcement agencies regarding pending criminal investigations. He was also called upon to conduct training classes for law enforcement and was a faculty member at the Prosecution Commission’s Annual Boot Camp for new prosecutors. The relationships that Attorney Don Sorenson has forged over the past two plus decades make him perfectly situated to help our clients no matter how difficult or sensitive their current situation might be.
